Hi and welcome to Confidently Katie. I’m Katie.
Confidently Katie is lifestyle blog where I share my unique experiences and perspective. I like to think that I’ve lived an interesting enough life so far and I hope that you’ll stick around for me to share it.
Here you might find…
++ My mom chef recipes (these usually include Campbell’s cream of soup and bread crumbs)
++ Learning experiences (and I have a LOT of those let me tell you…)
++ Some stuff about my professional life and how I got to where I am today (which sometimes I’m still a little surprised about)
++ Book club discussions
++ Maybe a bit about Jesus?
++My recommendations (no idea what makes me qualified to recommend stuff but oh well!)
++And the odd adventures of the 2/3rds Post Family. (That’s my passive aggressive way of telling my boyfriend he should propose to me.)
More about me:
The past few years have been a bit of a whirlwind for me. I met my Corey (my boyfriend) in October of 2015 and discovered I was pregnant in December of 2015. It was a unexpected to say the least, but let’s be honest, we all know where babies come from. Since then we’ve been figuring things out. We didn’t exactly have a lot of time in the dating stage before we had to start planning for the future, and that has made things pretty interesting. The photo is of us on Corey’s birthday. I was about 12 weeks pregnant then.
Lucky for me, Corey (that’s the boyfriend) was a good sport and survived pregnancy hormones, postpartum hormones, and the “my kid is 1 and I still haven’t lost the baby weight” emotions (don’t think I can call those hormones) And now here we are: Stumbling through life and parenting together one day at a time.
We’re raising a perfect little girl, playing some pretty serious kickball one night a week, and watching Netflix pretty much every evening, so I guess you could say we’re about like the average family. Clara turned 1 in August and I am still struggling to wrap my head around that one…
